Congratulations – Two Undefeated Teams

Congratulations to the Girls U10 Quakes and the Boys U11 Spartans. Both teams com completed the regular season with losing a game. The Quakes dominated play in the Bronze South bracket going 13-0-1 scoring 46 goals and only giving up three. And in League Cup play, the Quakes could only be beat by the tiebreaker rules. They had a win and a tie, and were dead even with another team in the pool. And the Quakes got bumped because they had a lower CSL team number.

The Spartans, Saddleback’s first boys team, finished their first season together under the direction of Coach Nick Kohlschreiber at 8-0-6. The Spartans are a gritty bunch of boys that came from behind to win or draw many times this season. But they always took care of business, especially in the second half.

Congrats to both Coach Monica Smith and Coach Nick for the great seasons. And a huge high-5 to all the kids on the two teams for outstanding performance.
